For Your Protection

Thank goodness for my local Walgreens! What bad guy wants to face a woman with a good supply of incense burners?

  1. Just stopped by to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. Be sure to stock up on turkey smelling incense!

  2. Hahaha! Someone forgot to completely dismantle the condom display. Yeah, those are the times you are glad to have a camera.

Hmmm, burning sage to keep the evil spirits away is hot these days! ;)

  4. Deb, a very standard wiccan/new age practice (but have you smelled burning sage? Bleah!) :P

Miss C, I could buy it if it only said "protect yourself" but "protect your family"??? I'm hoping it wasn't originally designed for condoms! ;o)

Ed, Hmmmm! The turkey smelling incense seemed to be in short supply...

Mr. Fabulous, A good thought! And if we left them plugged in, there might be a chance of electrocution. Think "Home Alone"!

    Bryan, ;o)

  5. Maybe they mean "protect your family" as in magical spells and such? Don't those usually involve burning something?

  6. Lazy Iguana, ahh, very good! They should include a spellbook, though. Not many people are conversant enough in herbal magick to know how to do that. And the oils weren't even essential oils! Just fragrance oils... :o( It will be very interesting to be there on the day that Walgreens has a wiccan section. :D That's something for The Jamie Kennedy Experiment!

  7. Well if that's the criteria
I must be one of the good guys. lol!

If only life were so neat,
that you could tell what someone is like from what they take from the shelve, or what they burn in da house.

But as a general rule, I must say incense burners are impassioned peace and tranquility seekers.

After all you hardly light the candles, the incense sticks, yurn down the lights and put on mood enhancing or relaxing music, before you dive into the path for a yelling (screaming) match!
