This blog was repeatedly named one of the best blogs in the area by the (then) St. Pete Times and Tampa Tribune. After a hiatus of a little over 3 years, she has recently returned to blogging and generally annoying everyone.
Saur♥Kraut grew up in the Tampa Bay Area and, after a brief period of roaming, settled there for good... just as a tick settles on a dog. She now lives in uneasy symbiosis with the most densely populated area within the State of Florida.

Krokogator, You must be quite busy during breaks to have earned that nickname in the office. Most people just hang out at the water cooler.
Lazy, Yeah, I'm sure. As you've said, we're in Flo-ri-DUH. Between our lack of quality education and poor employment law (right-to-work/right-to-fire law, etc.) there's no doubt that the only jobs are at McDonalds.
I feel your pain. I was dumb enough to get a BFA. Remember the 80's when liberal arts was the gateway to riches? Now even the word "liberal" is no good, never mind the degree. Well, at least I went to college when it was affordable.
Daveawayfromhome, ain't that the truth! ;o) Seriously, I paid off my student loans years ago, but it DID take almost 10 years to get them paid off.
