CVS is becoming quite the scold lately. First they proclaimed they were going to start demanding ID from people for acetone (which isn't in accordance with state or federal laws). Due to the brouhaha, they dropped THAT policy but now they've decided to stop selling cigarettes.
Don't get me wrong: I abhor cigarettes/tobacco in any form except in pesticide. But when a corporation is so concerned with social engineering that they make it a company policy, I usually choose to do business elsewhere. However, I have mixed feelings about the tobacco sales. After all, they don't sell dirtbag magazines either (Playboy, etc.) and I am always happy to see cigarettes dealt a blow.
