That's OK, We're still waiting for the vent of your moral outrage over David Vitter and his personal moral failings....

Cranky, why, it's a given, isn't it? My standards apply equally to dems and repubs alike. ;o)

Hire an Arab street vendor to sell your wares. Those guys know the fine art of haggling. You will get top nickel for your junk.

Ugh...you have my sympathies

Look at the good side. You are unloading all the clutter

I can't be bothered. It's not usually worth my time for the money you get. I either donate it or trash it.

Saur,

I put garage sale people right up there with Hispanics that drive drunk and blacks that shoot people.

I'm a garage sale addict. If I came around you would make a fortune. I have one son who has the coolest tools in the world and got all of them either from Craigs list or from yard sales. I have two eighteenth century coffee grinders and a poker print (pictures burnt on wood with a fireplace poker by itinerant artists) from about the same period. You can tell that I buy rather than sell most of the time.

I've been converted in the world of garage sales. I have always liked poking through them and have found lots of stuff over the years that I have either enjoyed or made money on. I once sold a brass fireplace door that I picked up for $5 and made a couple hundred dollars off of it thanks to ebay.

But my wife converted me to the actual selling part. She held a garage sale with some of our accumalated junk and made more money per hour than I do as an engineer!
