This blog was repeatedly named one of the best blogs in the area by the (then) St. Pete Times and Tampa Tribune. After a hiatus of a little over 3 years, she has recently returned to blogging and generally annoying everyone.
Saur♥Kraut grew up in the Tampa Bay Area and, after a brief period of roaming, settled there for good... just as a tick settles on a dog. She now lives in uneasy symbiosis with the most densely populated area within the State of Florida.

Gator / Caiman / Reptilethingygummy, Thanks, hon. I'm also downing tons of those fizzy anti-cold tablets: Airborne. I'm woozy from ODing on them. ;o) My verification code is "nrcafliy", to which I want to say: Of course it is! :P
That Airborne crap is HORRIBLE! American Airlines was giving it away for free at their Admiral's club at the airport. I took a few packets just to see what was up with the stuff.
AHHGGGG! It was terrible! I would rather drink water from a public toilet. Well not really, but you get the idea.
I swear by DayQuil and Alka-Seltzer Plus with cold relief.
Sorry to hear you are down. I had a session about a month ago. The first cold/congestion thing in a couple of years (As a card carrying Hypochondriac I take enough different anti-oxidents for three people, My wife can't even look in my direction when I am taking my pills.)
