Bad Ebay Pictures

The more I sell and buy on Ebay, the more I am astounded by how awful some of the pictures can be. Don't these people realized that "a picture is worth 1000 words"? Here's a recent sampling and what these photos say to me:

I live in a bordello and I'm using a cheap camera one of my customers left behind so that I can try to buy my way out:

BEETLEJUICE! BEETLEJUICE! BEETLEJUICE!

Seriously, why in the world didn't they crop this photo? On the left we see a space alien modelling the latest in wigs on Ebay. On the right: Beetlejuice as Beetlesnake (made famous in the original movie). Do we see a resemblance here!?

Go on and splurge on your woman a little. Show her you care as much as we did when we took this picture. Go ahead, you know you want it! That's right! It's a ... wait a minute, what is it again? A napkin ring?

Here we have a handbag that tempts the most discriminating of purse snatchers:

This is the wig that gives you that "Just woke up, had a cigarette, and am going shopping in a MuuMuu with bedroom slippers" look:

Finally, this is the famous photo that was taken in England years ago. It's a lesson to be learned. Apparently this isn't unusual! Who knew that people like to list their Ebay items when they're butt-nekkid?!

interesting pictures. I wouldn't buy anything based on those.

Yikes, that is one frightening tea kettle!

The photos are probably so bad because of one of the following:

A. Someone had sex with their sister and produced a tard
B. The item in question is in fact crap
C. All of the above.

The teapot was obviously intentional.

Most are awful, but what's wrong with the purse picture? Besides the purse being ugly?

Wickedly funny! You ought to look at some of the write-ups these days, talk about trade descriptions: "unique...only two in the world" etc. I love the kettle.

Tea kettle man knew what he was doing - he's nothing but a high-tech flasher.

I did the same thing once (using a toaster), and sent it to my then-girlfriend on a postcard. I thought that you couldnt tell without looking closely. Her mother informed her that I was wrong. I actually did just happen to be fixing breakfast naked at the time. Really.

Daveawayfromhome, Ew! The mom saw you?! Guess that taught you a lesson! ;o)

Esheneutics, I know! The descriptions are woefully pitiful, especially if they're from Asia. I wrote about that a while ago here. Read it and tell me I'm correct! :D

Miss C, the purse picture has that hand sneakily coming up from behind it. It looks even stranger, in miniature, along with all the other listings for purses. To me it looks as if a woman has put her handbag down on a table, and someone is sneakily reaching up to grab it. Maybe it's just me!

Lazy Iguana, ;o)

Kathleen, isn't it?!

Green, you would really have to expend some mental energy to get beyond them. :D

Yes, you're right massively and with passion elegantly write ;-)
