OK, Michelle busted me. She wandered into a blog I was playing around with, but hadn't decided what to do with yet. I'm going to call is Saur Grapes, as in one of my favorite Aesop's Fables: The Fox and the Grapes.

OK! How about posting excerpts from some of my favorite kids' books, so that kids/people can capture the excitement of them and choose to read them themselves?

The only prob with online books is that computers aren't portable and there are no portable book readers like there are portable game systems (ex. GameBoy). So kids can't 'curl up' with a good book, and the eyestrain will be something to think about, too.
They're saying those are some of the reasons why Rowlings (the author of the Harry Potter series) won't agree to having her books online.
