Stressed / Busy

Sorry, everyone. I'm taking off today. I'm very stressed (business & personal issues), worn out (insomnia) and I stepped on a rusty nail last night so I have to go get a tetanus shot (oh joy!). All together, this is a sucky beginning to a Friday. Have a wonderful day and I'll catch you tomorrow!

Everyone needs a day to themselves now and then. I hope:

1. No one calls you to bother you.
2. You find lots of time to rest and relax
3. You get to laugh HARD at something

I hope your day gets better. I started my day with my dog having a run-in with a skunk. I can totally relate...

Rusty Nail:

1 1/2 ounces Scotch
1/2 ounce Drambuie
1 twist of lemon peel

Pour the Scotch and Drambuie into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well. Garnish with the lemon twist.

Repeat as needed.

All that matters is that you take care of yourself... we'll wait and send good thoughts for your life to even out. Ewwww.... rusty nail, that had to hurt.

Saur,

This is weird I've had a great day. The illegal immigrants gave me golf balls, I won at golf and I'm now having a chocolate shake.

I hope you don't get so down that you start smokin crack.

PS I made a mistake, my cutting board say "Kissin don't last, good cooking do". The toothbrushing stool say "Wash hands and Feet and do it well before you step on this Carousel".

Everyone, it's amazing, but my toe kept getting worse until I got the tetanus shot at 4 PM. Was I getting tetanus? Did the shot help in some other way? The infection certainly was reversed. So, although I originally opted to NOT get one (too busy!) I ended up doing it last minute and I'm glad. It was much less painful than I thought it would be - it hurt less than a flu shot!

Senor Caiman,

I believe your stool says "Wash hands and face and do it well when you step on this carousel". I had the same one when I was little.

I just found your blog googling for the words on my wife's stool. She says a picture of a carousel used to be on the large top of the stool, but it has completely worn away. I was wondering if you had the same stool, and had a picture of that carousel?

Thanks for the link, it worked. Believe it or not, the paint is in much better shape than the one we have. I might use the pics to try to recreate the image.
