I went to the beach last night with SaurKid and we roamed about. It was very cold. The wind had whipped the sea remorselessly and foam was all over the shore like frothy, salty whipped cream. SaurKid couldn't resist scooping it up with seashells, and sprinkling sand all over it and watching it deflate. But I can't see how anyone on Spring Break would enjoy the cold air last night, unless they were from Canada (which some of them are).
These pics are from a recent car show held at Vinoy Park:

Firsties!!! (hehe)
I think I have died and gone to your blog! These pictures remind me of Enlishtown, NJ....my ex and I would bring the 68 Charger or his fixed up Road Runner and we would win awards for it. It was so much fun!
Just car shows in general are such a high for me!
Great pictures!!!
Your pictures remind me how much I am ready for spring.
Hmmmm.... I'll take the cute red roadster, thank you.
Have a good weekend, and enjoy the show. Unfortunetly, I'll be working most of it, but will be dreaming about the nice weather.
Jenn, we are having an unusually perfect winter this year, which would be equivalent to your spring.
Suzie, whatever comes my way! I love being spontaneous.
Deb, This was an unusually attractive grouping of cars/vehicles/whatnot. We couldn't stay long, cuz that's the day SaurKid was in the horrible car accident. Still, we got lotsa pics!
Ellen, so what's on the menu this weekend? Are you using arsenic-laden chicken? JK. ;o) Yeah, the red one is preeeety. I know the guy who owns it, too. Wish I could've taken time to go out for a spin in it...
I LOVE car shows! I wish I could go!
Those are some cool cars. I'd be proud to drive any of them!
Enjoy your weekend. I hope the weather stays nice for whatever you choose to do.
Avoid debauchery, okay?
Oh Saur,
I just love Hot Wheels, Hot Babes and my new media room. I had to give up Hot Wheels because they were making me moody. I’d like to see some of those rides with some fancy shoes.
If you look really close you can see the back of my head in that one picture.
ooooo nice rides!
I must be nuts, I used to like the beach in winter when the wind was whipping cold and spume was flying off the white caps. There was something very primal about it
Saur~ LOL! I don't know..... Grandma to the bride is a little bossy. I guess I won't tell her about your *report*.
cute post on sweetnsaur. I responded
These are great pictures of some wonderful cars. It indeed makes me look forward to spring, driving around with the top down. (Of course, in our van, that would mean someone stole the roof...)
I love the hood ornament!
The weather does look great.
Sigh....maybe someday we will see Florida.
It is rainy here in Tornado Alley.
