Speed Blogging

Tonight I'm Speed Blogging due to the fact that my schedule's been tight lately. Usually I like to post my blog every morning. I don't like this end-of-the-day blogging. By then my mind is worn out and I'm ready to settle in, burn a couple candles, make a soothing cuppa hot tea, and read a good book.

So, my apologies to those of you, my Blogger Buddies, who are putting up with my currently erratic schedule.

Let me fill you in on the highlights:

1. Ozma's evil ex-fiance died. She was miserable. Now she's on the slow road to recovery. I've been there for her all the way (as much as I could be).
2. I turned in my official resignation today. I start my own business on October 1st. I am very nervous.
3. I have been missing out on News and Events, sadly. I am a big reader, but simply haven't had time for it. I will be back in the swing of things shortly!
4. Mike's Hard Cranberry Lemonade tastes really good after a long, hot, stressful day of drinking bitter coffee with powdered creamer.
5. So does Ozma's Chicken & Yellow Rice.

my favorite evening brew is Republic of Teas Kiwi and Pear Green tea.

You are making a bigger emotional step than a business one by moving out from under the umbrella. Once it settles you will probably wish you had done it sooner

I agree with cotey, its great to read your blogs when they come. After all, you do have a life *G*

Her man just died and you made her cook chicken and yellow rice for you? That's evil, but it's funny!
I love you, friend. Until later...

When Oct. 1 comes will we still be able to hear about Customers From Hell? It would be too bad if we had to forego such treats.

Speed blogging sounds good to me. Kind of what I have done for the last couple of days. Talk to you soon!

You're a terrific speed blogger. Good luck with the new business- you'll do great.

Yes, good luck with the new business! Your speed blogging works for me!

I just remembered. I have a good chicken and yellow rice recipe. Haven't made it in a while. When I remember how to cook it I will send it over to TC.

You do great for speed blogging. I'll need your input to know how to do it while I'm doing the Marquette thing this fall.

As to the news, nothing new under the sun; same stupidity, same blather; the same need to avoid the networks and get our news from blogs.

Does Pie miss you too?

Hey, a few pieces of unsolicited advice...find a good tax man and a banker. Draw up a business plan and show it to both of them. If you have ANY questions, find those who know. Knowledge is the key, and there are many good sources of knowledge out there. You don't need to do this alone. And when you lean on them, you'll feel the anxiety just fall right off of you!

God bless!

Steve, I am so sorry to hear of this. I will go to her site. She's in my prayers.

Underground, Yes, even Pie is neglected right now. *sigh*
Thanks so much for the advice. I am going to make an appointment w/ my accountant next week and discuss it with him. I know the name I want for my business, and have checked it out on sunbiz.org and it's not been taken yet, thankfully (since it's my last name!)

Michelle, oh yummy. Ozma does something unusual with hers: she adds green olives. I hate green olives normally, but they are SO GOOD with this; it's incredible!!!

Acton Bell, I don't drink much at all, but occasionally it's nice to have one. My fave drinks are a Fuzzy Navel, Silver, and that Cranberry Lemonade. I like tart/sweet drinks.

Aral, Fred, Michelle, & Coty, thanks so much for understanding. I can't wait till October 1! Then I can get into a regular blogging and work schedule.

Oldhorsetailsnake, ohhh yeah, no worries there. I have more stories than space to tell them in! ;o)

Jeff, *G* I considered it a friendly distraction for her. I make candles, so I made her some in exchange for the marvellous meal. Wow was it good! Her house was full of rowdy teens that night, too, so she didn't have much time to think.

Mallory, My faves are chai tea and the new Celestial Seasonings Madagascar Red which has Rooibus(?) in it. It's supposed to have wonderful medicinal properties and tastes lovely.

The more I spend here, the more I get to like you. You are all-right! And from me, that's sayin' alot. Any leftovers?

Jeff, thanks! Likewise, I'm sure! *g* Nope, no leftovers after the teens got into it. :p She's Mexican/American so you should try her tamales! Wow! What a good cook!
