Lazy Sunday

I apologize for not blogging today. I'm taking a rare vacation. The Other Half and I slept in till 10 (unheard of!) then found a little greasy spoon diner for brunch, and then meandered to the Palm Harbor Art Festival where we saw tons of lovely, overpriced goods everywhere. We were exceedingly impressed, and bought nothing.

Then we headed home for a 2-hour nap and now we're getting ready to see Aeon Flux. This was a day of much-needed R&R, so please forgive the unusual silence. Hey! If world leaders can take an occasional day off, I can too!

This blog will resume it's regular programming on Monday. ;o)

Don't sweat it! I usually take a breather on the weekends.
I debate and discuss political and other issues at a very good blog. I want to invite you to check it out and add your two cents once in a while. There is a new post only once or twice a week, and the discussion grows from there. Libs and Cons bat things around. I hope you will check it out:

Enjoy the rest of your lazy Sunday.

You were on my blog. I posted once today. I don't even think I wrote a complete sentence.

My almost 12 year-old niece and I went Christmas shopping together. I loved it! I am borrowing her as my own more often. I have boys so it was a joy to hang with a girl for once.

Our paticular world leader does it for a month. Glad you enjoyed some R&R.

I hope Aeon Flux is better than it looks. It looks amazingly awful.

Just give us a good movie review and we'll forgive you.

Since I've been practically a bound cavedweller with my term papers, I haven't been up to speed on your little darling possums (yech). How are the little...er pets doing?

Have you set them free to go and make more little possum darlings in their little possum bungalows, with papa possum going to work at the dump?

*LOL*

Don't mind me...my brain is half dead. Hey! I heard someone say when isn't it half dead! Who said that?

See ya friend!

Underground, *LOL* Well, I should've blogged about the possums a long time ago. They never tamed well, and I was going in to surgery, so I found an excellent possum rescue group which happened to be near by! I donated both money and possums to the cause. She is currently training them to be wild animals again, and is keeping them until she can release them in the spring. She says they're doing very well. She also says the vet who told me that they make great pets is an idiot! ;o)

Uncle Joe & Jessica, well... I'm a big Sci Fi buff, so I've read some things like it. I also adore art, and will drag victims to museums and preach about art all day. So, coming from that perspective: the film was an artistic masterpiece. But I had the plot solved within the first quarter of the movie. But, *I* liked it and would recommend it to others, primarily because it is visually gorgeous.

Fred, I was thinking of that very example. ;o)

Michelle, isn't it nice? Your boys are as difficult as mine is when it comes to shopping. And my stepdaughter will go with me to drool over jewelry and pick the fattest rings. My son would rather be flayed alive.

Jamie Dawn, thanks, hon! I'll check it out!
