This blog was repeatedly named one of the best blogs in the area by the (then) St. Pete Times and Tampa Tribune. After a hiatus of a little over 3 years, she has recently returned to blogging and generally annoying everyone.
Saur♥Kraut grew up in the Tampa Bay Area and, after a brief period of roaming, settled there for good... just as a tick settles on a dog. She now lives in uneasy symbiosis with the most densely populated area within the State of Florida.

i like everything but the mermaid. it's just sooooo not you, saur. when i think mermaid, i think quiet, coy, and elusive--not exactly saurkraut qualitites. i do, however, like your old avatar image. do you have a larger version of the old image? i could revamp it for you.

I was trying to go for a Floridian theme, and since one of my nicknames has always been "Mermaid", it seemed fitting. But I agree - it's not really my personality. We'll discuss it more in detail off the blog?

I like it as well... but will miss your beautiful picture in your green dress (my favorite color) and your big hat. Mermaid is ok, though... as I do picture you with red hair no matter what you wear.

Ellen, thanks sweetie! TS is trying to get me to change it back, somewhat modified. So perhaps Michelle will inherit the scheme (she really DOES look like this!). I'd like to have something with short, spiky blond hair. I actually am told I look a lot like Sharon Stone. I WAS a redhead once, though!
